Paul Harnett - Program Developer
A/Prof Paul Harnett is Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with complex families affected by parental substance abuse and intergenerational trauma. He currently works in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice (Griffith University) after 16 years in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland.
He has worked clinically and conducted research in the area of child protection since 1987. He has an interest in child protection decision making and developed the Capacity to Change model of assessment to assist decision-making in the child protection context.
He has extensive expertise in evaluation of psychological interventions including randomised controlled trials, translational research with a focus on implementation and support for agencies in the Parents under Pressure program.
He is a fellow of the Australian Psychological Society in recognition of many years serving on committees at the State and National level.
